If you do not use drugs, why do you stay clean?

I really haven't smoked in awhile.

Because I don't need them and see no reason to try. Not worth my time I have better things to do

I stay clean because my future is important to me and it isn't worth the risks. I also study very hard and earn good grades and wouldn't want teachers to and adults to see me differently because I am a role model to younger kids in a lot of the activities I am a part of.

I'll get my own highs naturally and I don't need help from anything else

I stay clean becasue of sports and it's not worth the risk. I also think smoking is gross and unattractive and I don't want yellow teeth.

At this point in my life, the risk (legal) is fairly steep. I'm focusing on working so that I can bring my life to a point where the risk is far less steep (college, living abroad).

i only tried it and it wasn't my thing.

my friends don't do them and the people who i know who do are really annoying to be around when they are high

Doing drugs, in my opinion, is a complete waste of time. Most people start doing drugs because it is "socially acceptable" in the particular group someone is trying to get approval from. I think being physically or mentally dependant on a substance is such a weakness.

I don't really have the time and my friends are relatively limited users themselves. Also, although I am fine with people using drugs some of the time, I would never want to be wrapped up in drugs to the point where the rest of my hobbies/interests diminish. Too many people I know have become deadbeats because of drug use and that is kind of lame. But it's fine when it's all in good fun and isn't the only way people spend their time.

Because I know that drugs are harmful, I know that if I start now i will never stop. Its not okay to do those things because it only leads to stupid things.

I'm fine not doing drugs, I see no need. I'm not like COMPLETELY against drugs, I just think that right now I have a lot of big goals in life that drugs could get in the way of. I also feel like I have a lot of expectations to live up to with family, friends, etc...and those expectations DONT include drug use...

I'm able to have fun without the outside influence. I see no reason in inhibit myself when I can have a perfectly good time without being stoned.

i stay clean when i want to or i have sports or dont feel good or bc they are not necessary. there are many reasons to not do drugs but it is a personal preference of mine that life is better when you are not drunk or high.
